The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is an exceptional luxury hotel located in the renowned Deer Valley ski resort, just approximately 40 minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport. Job Requirements
- minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality as a maitre'd or similar role
- bartending experience is preferred
- strong passion for hospitality
- excellent communication and leadership skills
- ability to work full time with flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- must be reliable and a team player willing to adapt and learn
- must have an understanding of high-end dining and guest service excellence
Job Qualifications
- minimum of 2 years of experience as a maitre'd or in a similar role in hospitality
- priority will be given to candidates with bartending experience
- passion for hospitality and the ability to provide exceptional service and create lasting memories for our guests
- warm and professional communication and leadership skills
- are a reliable, flexible team player willing to learn and adapt to new situations
- have open full time availability to work nights and weekends, including holidays
Job Duties
- coordinating and managing reservations
- answering the phone, emails, and text messages from guests
- manage and train other FOH staff on hosting and canapé service
- assist with the bar service program as scheduling needs require
- greet and welcome guests, ensuring a high standard of hospitality
- coordinate with the chef and FOH staff to ensure timely and efficient service
- handle guest's feedback, resolving them in a professional manner
