Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in high volume and fine dining restaurant environments
- Experience leading and supervising front-of-house teams
- Ability to use reservation software such as Seven Rooms
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and event-based schedules
- Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years of restaurant experience in high volume and fine dining restaurants
- At least 1 year experience leading a front door team
- Previous Maitre D experience desired
- Basic computer knowledge with the ability to communicate
- Part-time position requiring open availability particularly for Thursday through Saturday shifts and event-based scheduling
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and ensure a high level of hospitality from the first point of contact
- Manage and coordinate reservations using reservation software
- Organize and supervise the seating plan ensuring efficient table turnover while honoring guest preferences
- Maintain communication with kitchen and wait staff to ensure prompt and seamless service
- Train and supervise hosts and front-of-house staff
- Handle guest complaints and special requests promptly and professionally
- Monitor dining room atmosphere and cleanliness ensuring alignment with brand standards
- Work collaboratively with the management team to implement service strategies and special events
- Uphold compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards
