Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in high volume and fine dining restaurant environments
  • Experience leading and supervising front-of-house teams
  • Ability to use reservation software such as Seven Rooms
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and event-based schedules
  • Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of restaurant experience in high volume and fine dining restaurants
  • At least 1 year experience leading a front door team
  • Previous Maitre D experience desired
  • Basic computer knowledge with the ability to communicate
  • Part-time position requiring open availability particularly for Thursday through Saturday shifts and event-based scheduling

Job Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and ensure a high level of hospitality from the first point of contact
  • Manage and coordinate reservations using reservation software
  • Organize and supervise the seating plan ensuring efficient table turnover while honoring guest preferences
  • Maintain communication with kitchen and wait staff to ensure prompt and seamless service
  • Train and supervise hosts and front-of-house staff
  • Handle guest complaints and special requests promptly and professionally
  • Monitor dining room atmosphere and cleanliness ensuring alignment with brand standards
  • Work collaboratively with the management team to implement service strategies and special events
  • Uphold compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards
