Job Requirements
- 1+ year experience in a similar role in a high-volume NYC restaurant
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and confident under pressure
- Proficiency with reservation systems, Resy preferred
- Availability to work nights and weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Qualifications
- 1+ year experience as a lead host, maitre d', or similar role in a high-volume NYC restaurant
- Strong understanding of pace, flow, and seating strategy
- Experience with reservation systems (Resy preferred)
- Excellent communication skills
- Team-first mentality
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and high-traffic service periods
Job Duties
- Welcome guests with hospitality, professionalism, and personality
- Manage reservations, waitlist, floor pacing, and guest communication
- Lead and support the host team
- model exceptional service standards
- Coordinate seating with FOH and BOH teams to maintain smooth service flow
- Handle guest inquiries, VIP requests, and special accommodations
- Maintain a polished front desk environment and organized reservation notes
- Act as an ambassador for the Dudley's brand and guest experience
