Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years host, maitre d' or other high-touch service team experience
  • Availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Have a positive energy, be ready to assist fellow support staff and work as a team player
  • Ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees, and all guests
  • Constant standing and walking with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years experience in hosting, maitre d' or other high-touch service roles such as management or bartending
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive energy with a team player attitude
  • Ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees, and guests

Job Duties

  • Take reservations using the online reservations system OpenTable
  • Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival and thank guests as they leave
  • Provide estimated waiting times when seating is limited and notify guests when their table becomes available
  • Accommodate special seating requests whenever possible
  • Act as a liaison between the kitchen and dining room, relaying messages to support staff and managers as needed
