Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years host, maitre d' or other high-touch service team experience
- Availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Have a positive energy, be ready to assist fellow support staff and work as a team player
- Ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees, and all guests
- Constant standing and walking with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience in hosting, maitre d' or other high-touch service roles such as management or bartending
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Positive energy with a team player attitude
- Ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees, and guests
Job Duties
- Take reservations using the online reservations system OpenTable
- Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival and thank guests as they leave
- Provide estimated waiting times when seating is limited and notify guests when their table becomes available
- Accommodate special seating requests whenever possible
- Act as a liaison between the kitchen and dining room, relaying messages to support staff and managers as needed
