Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic knowledge of general maintenance and repair
- Experience in hospitality or hotel maintenance is a plus
- Ability to work weekends, Saturdays and Sundays specifically
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to maintenance work
- Willingness to adhere to company appearance standards
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Job Qualifications
- Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, wall covering, and landscaping principles and procedures
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Punctuality and reliable work attendance
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance according to specific standards
Job Duties
- Maintain the guest rooms, public spaces, and back of the hotel areas in good repair by performing various tasks related to a variety of trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, painting, wall covering, and landscaping
- Provide valet parking for guests as needed
- May be required to work nights, weekends or holidays
- Conduct maintenance and safety inspections as needed and ensure timely follow-up to required improvements
