Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- two to three years of experience in maintenance
- able to safely handle hazardous materials
- must be able to pass a criminal background check
- must be able to pass a drug screening
- physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- availability to work full-time
- good communication skills
- ability to perform manual labor tasks
Job Qualifications
- two to three years of experience working as a maintenance professional
- bilingual skills preferred, not required
- experience working in a residential setting is preferred, but not required
- trained and experienced to safely handle specific hazardous material associated with building maintenance
- able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
Job Duties
- handle any needed maintenance concerns in occupied, vacant and model apartments
- keep common areas and exterior clean and free of trash and debris
- make apartments move-in ready by cleaning, patching, painting and repairing walls, fixtures, and flooring
- change light bulbs, filters, and locks as needed
- perform daily inspections of the property and report any maintenance concerns to the Property Manager and/or Service Manager and recommend solutions
- maintain a preventative maintenance schedule
- complete service requests in order of priority
