Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling
  • All required state and local certifications
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Capacity to lift up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and crawl in confined spaces for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling
  • Relevant state and local certifications as required
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Proven experience in technical and mechanical maintenance roles preferred
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing, and working in various weather conditions
  • Strong attention to safety protocols and regulatory compliance
  • Good communication and documentation skills

Job Duties

  • Complete assigned work orders generated from resident service requests and preventative maintenance tasks
  • Perform the make-ready process for vacant apartment homes including inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, and conducting repairs
  • Manage materials and inventory by following procedures for obtaining and tracking supplies and notifying supervisors of needs
  • Document and process service requests accurately and timely for tracking and accountability
  • Assist in maintaining property grounds, common areas, and amenities with cleaning, trash removal, pressure washing, and painting
  • Support cost-saving measures by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently
  • Participate in safety meetings, comply with OSHA and safety training, inspect contractor work for quality assurance, and contribute to routine property inspections to identify maintenance and safety concerns
