Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling
- All required state and local certifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Capacity to lift up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and crawl in confined spaces for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling
- Relevant state and local certifications as required
- Valid driver’s license
- Proven experience in technical and mechanical maintenance roles preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing, and working in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to safety protocols and regulatory compliance
- Good communication and documentation skills
Job Duties
- Complete assigned work orders generated from resident service requests and preventative maintenance tasks
- Perform the make-ready process for vacant apartment homes including inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, and conducting repairs
- Manage materials and inventory by following procedures for obtaining and tracking supplies and notifying supervisors of needs
- Document and process service requests accurately and timely for tracking and accountability
- Assist in maintaining property grounds, common areas, and amenities with cleaning, trash removal, pressure washing, and painting
- Support cost-saving measures by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently
- Participate in safety meetings, comply with OSHA and safety training, inspect contractor work for quality assurance, and contribute to routine property inspections to identify maintenance and safety concerns
