Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid EPA Type 1 and II or Universal certification for refrigerant recycling
- valid driver’s license
- ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions
- ability to lift and maneuver weights up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance
- willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- compliance with state and local certification requirements
Job Qualifications

- experience in property maintenance or related technical trades
- knowledge of safety standards and regulations
- strong communication and documentation skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Complete assigned work orders generated from resident requests for service
- perform preventative maintenance on the property
- complete the make-ready process for vacant apartment homes including inspections, scheduling vendors, and completing repairs
- follow procedures for obtaining and tracking materials and supplies
- complete documentation and paperwork for service requests
- assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities including trash pickup, pressure washing, cleaning, and painting
- support cost-cutting and expense control programs by repairing rather than replacing parts
- comply with safety and risk-management policies
- periodically inspect contractor and vendor work
- assist in routine and periodic property inspections
