Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • valid EPA Type 1 and II or Universal certification for refrigerant recycling
  • valid driver’s license
  • ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions
  • ability to lift and maneuver weights up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance
  • willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • compliance with state and local certification requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • valid driver’s license
  • experience in property maintenance or related technical trades
  • knowledge of safety standards and regulations
  • strong communication and documentation skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Complete assigned work orders generated from resident requests for service
  • perform preventative maintenance on the property
  • complete the make-ready process for vacant apartment homes including inspections, scheduling vendors, and completing repairs
  • follow procedures for obtaining and tracking materials and supplies
  • complete documentation and paperwork for service requests
  • assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities including trash pickup, pressure washing, cleaning, and painting
  • support cost-cutting and expense control programs by repairing rather than replacing parts
  • comply with safety and risk-management policies
  • periodically inspect contractor and vendor work
  • assist in routine and periodic property inspections
