Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Relatable experience in maintenance or technical work
EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling as required
Valid driver’s license for vehicle operation on the property
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance
Availability to work Tuesday to Saturday with occasional on-call duties
Compliance with safety and risk management policies including OSHA trainings

Job Qualifications

Entry-level experience in maintenance or related field
Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and technical issues
Basic knowledge of property maintenance standards and safety codes
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures
Valid driver’s license as needed for property operations

Job Duties

Completes assigned work orders generated from resident requests for service
Completes preventative maintenance on the property by diagnosing problems and making repairs
Conducts the make-ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing, including inspections and vendor coordination
Follows inventory procedures by tracking supplies and notifying supervisor of reordering needs
Completes accurate documentation for service requests and maintenance tasks
Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning and performing minor repairs
Supports cost-cutting measures by repairing instead of replacing parts and conserving materials
