Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Relatable experience in maintenance or technical work
- EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling as required
- Valid driver’s license for vehicle operation on the property
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance
- Availability to work Tuesday to Saturday with occasional on-call duties
- Compliance with safety and risk management policies including OSHA trainings
Job Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in maintenance or related field
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and technical issues
- Basic knowledge of property maintenance standards and safety codes
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures
- Valid driver’s license as needed for property operations
Job Duties
- Completes assigned work orders generated from resident requests for service
- Completes preventative maintenance on the property by diagnosing problems and making repairs
- Conducts the make-ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing, including inspections and vendor coordination
- Follows inventory procedures by tracking supplies and notifying supervisor of reordering needs
- Completes accurate documentation for service requests and maintenance tasks
- Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning and performing minor repairs
- Supports cost-cutting measures by repairing instead of replacing parts and conserving materials
