Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Relevant experience in hotel or commercial property maintenance
- Proven skills in plumbing, electrical, refrigeration and HVAC systems
- Ability to perform light carpentry and drywall repairs
- Strong organizational and self-motivation skills
- Proficient English communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance requests
Job Qualifications
- Advanced maintenance knowledge and skills
- Ability to dismantle equipment for repairs or component replacement
- Knowledge of water chemistry, testing, filtration, and mechanical pool operations
- Experience in preventative maintenance program implementation
- Knowledge of building maintenance including minor electrical and plumbing repair
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery faults using proper testing methods
- Flexibility to be available for emergency repairs
Job Duties
- Maintain safe and smooth-running physical hotel property and grounds
- Complete repairs and preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment and HVAC systems
- Perform light carpentry, painting, vinyl and drywall repairs
- Implement and monitor safety and maintenance programs ensuring regulatory compliance
- Keep detailed records and reports
- Provide ongoing training to Maintenance Tech I team members
- Collaborate with management to recruit for department needs
- Contribute to exceptional guest experience by providing courteous and friendly service
