Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years of related experience
  • general knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC and/or carpentry
  • must live within 30 minutes of the property unless approved
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to climb and work on ladders
  • ability to work with arms raised overhead
  • ability to stand/walk for long periods
  • ability to climb stairs
  • ability to bend at waist and knees to lift boxes, appliances, furniture, shovel snow

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED
  • skilled in at least 2 trades (electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC and carpentry, etc.)
  • maintains a valid driver's license
  • technical proficiency with cell phones and tablets
  • availability for on-call activity during off hours for urgent needs
  • ability to speak and understand basic English

Job Duties

  • perform all clean out and demo work for turnover related responsibilities once apartments are vacated to ensure make ready status is achieved in a timely manner
  • perform general carpentry duties such as wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window/glass repair, door/lock repair, and ceramic tile repair
  • perform drywall patch work, painting, replacement of cover plates, and cleaning common areas
  • monitor and organize inventory
  • pick up and deliver supplies using company or personal vehicle
  • remove snow from property during any and all hours
  • maintain grounds by mowing lawns, pruning trees and shrubs, and removing weeds and debris
  • perform assigned preventive maintenance duties and tasks
  • assist in maintaining equipment to function properly and comply with all safety standards
  • perform emergency on-call service for after hours maintenance-related issues as required
  • assist at other properties in the region as needed
