Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of related experience
- general knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC and/or carpentry
- must live within 30 minutes of the property unless approved
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to climb and work on ladders
- ability to work with arms raised overhead
- ability to stand/walk for long periods
- ability to climb stairs
- ability to bend at waist and knees to lift boxes, appliances, furniture, shovel snow
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED
- skilled in at least 2 trades (electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC and carpentry, etc.)
- maintains a valid driver's license
- technical proficiency with cell phones and tablets
- availability for on-call activity during off hours for urgent needs
- ability to speak and understand basic English
Job Duties
- perform all clean out and demo work for turnover related responsibilities once apartments are vacated to ensure make ready status is achieved in a timely manner
- perform general carpentry duties such as wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window/glass repair, door/lock repair, and ceramic tile repair
- perform drywall patch work, painting, replacement of cover plates, and cleaning common areas
- monitor and organize inventory
- pick up and deliver supplies using company or personal vehicle
- remove snow from property during any and all hours
- maintain grounds by mowing lawns, pruning trees and shrubs, and removing weeds and debris
- perform assigned preventive maintenance duties and tasks
- assist in maintaining equipment to function properly and comply with all safety standards
- perform emergency on-call service for after hours maintenance-related issues as required
- assist at other properties in the region as needed
