Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hotel or facility maintenance
  • Ability to perform a variety of maintenance repairs
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and emergency response procedures
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Ability to work flexible hours including being available for emergency repairs

Job Qualifications

  • Advanced maintenance skills
  • Knowledge of water chemistry, water testing, filtration, and mechanical operations
  • Ability to provide training to junior maintenance staff
  • General knowledge of building maintenance including minor electrical and plumbing repairs
  • Strong organizational and self-motivation skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Experience in a similar maintenance role

Job Duties

  • Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, light carpentry, painting, and HVAC systems
  • Provide training and mentoring to Maintenance Tech I team members
  • Collaborate with management to recruit, interview, and schedule maintenance staff
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints
  • Maintain detailed records and reports of maintenance activities
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Be available for emergency repairs
