Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Some experience in general maintenance
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to perform light to moderate lifting and physical tasks
- Ability to follow safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work full time
- Willingness to follow company policies and guest service standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting
- Knowledge or ability to learn air conditioning and refrigeration systems
- Basic electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls knowledge
- Basic computer skills
- Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance is a plus
- Valid driver’s license
Job Duties
- Respond and attend to guest repair requests
- Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen and mechanical room equipment including cleaning and lubrication
- Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
- Carry equipment such as tools and radios
- Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and utility shut-offs for buildings
- Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed
