Job Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in maintenance
  • Skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience in maintenance with skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
  • HVAC/EPA certifications or similar credentials are a plus
  • Effective communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to deliver high-quality work
  • Proactive problem-solving ability
  • Dependable and flexible with availability for after-hours or weekend emergencies

Job Duties

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks ensuring all property systems and equipment are in excellent working condition
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems as needed
  • Address and resolve resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally
  • Conduct property inspections to identify and address maintenance needs proactively
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to prioritize and complete work orders efficiently
  • Ensure the property meets safety standards and complies with applicable regulations
  • Maintain an organized inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies
  • Assist with apartment turnovers ensuring units are move-in ready for new residents
  • Respond to emergency maintenance issues including after-hours calls when necessary
