Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience in maintenance
  • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members
  • Detail-oriented and proactive approach
  • Willingness to work after-hours or weekends for emergencies
  • HVAC/EPA certifications preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience in maintenance with skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
  • HVAC/EPA certifications or similar credentials are preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality work
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities
  • Dependable and flexible with a readiness to handle emergency calls

Job Duties

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks, ensuring all property systems and equipment are in excellent working condition
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems as needed
  • Address and resolve resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally
  • Conduct property inspections to identify and address maintenance needs proactively
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to prioritize and complete work orders efficiently
  • Ensure the property meets safety standards and complies with applicable regulations
  • Maintain an organized inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies
  • Assist with apartment turnovers, ensuring units are move-in ready for new residents
  • Respond to emergency maintenance issues, including after-hours calls when necessary
