Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Hands-on experience in maintenance
- Willingness to learn and grow in HVAC and related systems
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and residents
- Detail-oriented approach to work
- Ability to respond to emergency maintenance requests
- Dependability and flexibility including availability for after-hours and weekend work
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- HVAC/EPA certifications or similar credentials are preferred
- Hands-on experience in maintenance with skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality work
- Proactive problem-solving abilities
- Dependable and flexible with willingness to handle after-hours or weekend emergencies
Job Duties
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks, ensuring all property systems and equipment are in excellent working condition
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems as needed
- Address and resolve resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally
- Conduct property inspections to identify and address maintenance needs proactively
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to prioritize and complete work orders efficiently
- Ensure the property meets safety standards and complies with applicable regulations
- Maintain an organized inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies
- Assist with apartment turnovers, ensuring units are move-in ready for new residents
- Respond to emergency maintenance issues, including after-hours calls when necessary
