Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in maintenance or related field
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Experience in maintenance or engineering in a hospitality environment
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration systems
- Ability to perform routine repairs and preventative maintenance
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Awareness of safety standards and emergency procedures
Job Duties
- Provide professional courteous service to guests and accommodate various requests
- Keep all equipment in good working order with routine repairs and preventative maintenance checks
- Assist Area Director of Engineering with maintenance to refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment, event spaces, A/C units, ice machines, lighting, kitchen equipment, emergency generators, water softeners, switch rooms, roof exhausts, electrical substations
- Provide a safe environment for guests and hotel staff by meeting all safety standards
- Report all safety and security concerns to Area Director of Engineering or Manager on Duty immediately
- Work with all departments to complete tasks and communicate when working in another department's space
- Assist other departments when help is needed
- Be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and Job Safety Analysis guides
