Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in maintenance or related field
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in maintenance or engineering in a hospitality environment
  • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration systems
  • Ability to perform routine repairs and preventative maintenance
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Awareness of safety standards and emergency procedures

Job Duties

  • Provide professional courteous service to guests and accommodate various requests
  • Keep all equipment in good working order with routine repairs and preventative maintenance checks
  • Assist Area Director of Engineering with maintenance to refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment, event spaces, A/C units, ice machines, lighting, kitchen equipment, emergency generators, water softeners, switch rooms, roof exhausts, electrical substations
  • Provide a safe environment for guests and hotel staff by meeting all safety standards
  • Report all safety and security concerns to Area Director of Engineering or Manager on Duty immediately
  • Work with all departments to complete tasks and communicate when working in another department's space
  • Assist other departments when help is needed
  • Be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and Job Safety Analysis guides
