Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- technical certifications preferred
- previous experience in hotel maintenance or engineering
- knowledge of building systems
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to perform maintenance tasks
- strong problem-solving skills
- good communication skills
- valid driver’s license
- willingness to respond to emergencies

Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
- skills in developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules
- ability to diagnose and repair issues promptly
- understanding of energy-efficient practices and systems
- possession of technical certifications such as HVAC Technician, Electrician License, or OSHA training
- ability to manage crises calmly and effectively
- keen attention to detail
- strong communication skills for interdepartmental collaboration
- experience liaising with vendors and contractors
- familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations
- proficiency in record-keeping

Job Duties
- Oversee routine maintenance and emergency repairs for hotel equipment, systems, and infrastructure
- perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
- ensure all hotel facilities are in excellent condition and compliant with brand standards
- ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations including fire safety and building codes
- perform regular safety inspections and maintain certification records
- monitor and manage energy consumption to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- respond promptly to emergencies such as power outages, plumbing failures, and HVAC issues
- collaborate with housekeeping, front desk, and food and beverage teams to address maintenance needs
- maintain detailed records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and expenses
- report maintenance activities and issues to the General Manager
