Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 3 years facility maintenance experience
- valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- ability to drive community bus safely
- proficiency in routine maintenance and building repairs
- basic computer literacy including email, Microsoft Word, and Excel
- ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups
- willingness to work Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with flexibility for emergencies
- commitment to company core values
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years facility maintenance experience in a hotel, apartment or senior living facility
- at least 24 years of age with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- experience performing routine maintenance and building repairs with knowledge of custodial procedures
- basic computer skills including email, Microsoft Word, and Excel
- HVAC experience is a plus
- strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, managers, and vendors
Job Duties
- Take ownership of the maintenance upkeep of the community
- bond with residents daily to foster trust
- respond to maintenance requests from residents including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general maintenance tasks
- ensure quality work of outside contractors
- handle vacant apartment turn process including painting and carpet cleaning
- keep accurate logs of monthly inspections to maintain safe building conditions
- live by core values of respect, kindness, compassion, honesty, and service excellence
