Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 3 years facility maintenance experience
  • valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • ability to drive community bus safely
  • proficiency in routine maintenance and building repairs
  • basic computer literacy including email, Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups
  • willingness to work Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with flexibility for emergencies
  • commitment to company core values

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years facility maintenance experience in a hotel, apartment or senior living facility
  • at least 24 years of age with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • experience performing routine maintenance and building repairs with knowledge of custodial procedures
  • basic computer skills including email, Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • HVAC experience is a plus
  • strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, managers, and vendors

Job Duties

  • Take ownership of the maintenance upkeep of the community
  • bond with residents daily to foster trust
  • respond to maintenance requests from residents including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general maintenance tasks
  • ensure quality work of outside contractors
  • handle vacant apartment turn process including painting and carpet cleaning
  • keep accurate logs of monthly inspections to maintain safe building conditions
  • live by core values of respect, kindness, compassion, honesty, and service excellence
