Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous engineering experience preferred
- Must be able to read and interpret documents such as Lockout Tag Out, MSDS, safety awareness information, maintenance instructions and procedural manuals
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and associates
- Must be able to work as an independent mechanic
- Must be able to analyze problems, identify course of action and implement solutions
- Represent the company in a courteous and well-groomed manner
- Must be punched in, in uniform and ready for work as scheduled
- Must be able to use and understand hand and power tools
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift, grasp, twist and stretch
- Must be flexible with a positive attitude
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Repairs furniture and structures such as cabinets, tables, chairs, doors, windows, and wallpaper
- Paints and finishes furniture and structures
- Checks and makes minor repairs on electrical systems such as HVAC, refrigeration controls, vacuum cleaners, hairdryers, lighting systems, television sets, and phones
- Checks and makes minor repairs on plumbing systems and fixtures such as pipe lines, valves, toilets, showers, sinks, and cutting of keys as well as major repair of locks
- Performs preventive maintenance of plumbing and electrical systems according to the preventive maintenance schedule
- Maintains cleanliness, sanitation, and personal hygiene
- Participates fully in the hotel’s Fire, Safety, Security, and Environmental plan and/or committees
- Performs other duties as assigned
