Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in maintenance or related field
  • Ability to perform basic repairs in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts
  • Commitment to safety and compliance

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in building or hotel maintenance preferred
  • Aquatic/pool maintenance experience a plus
  • Ability to read and understand technical repair and service manuals
  • Basic math skills and working knowledge of English
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Professional demeanor and appearance

Job Duties

  • Respond promptly to in-room maintenance requests and general repair needs
  • Follow daily instructions from the Maintenance Manager regarding maintenance tasks, repairs, and equipment upkeep
  • Maintain compliance with brand and safety standards throughout the hotel
  • Inspect and monitor building systems and equipment for proper function and safety
  • Perform basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs
  • Assist in evaluating project feasibility and resource needs
  • Interpret technical manuals and apply facility management techniques
  • Attend staff and safety meetings and support emergency procedures as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspaces, tools, and equipment
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and maintain operational flow
