Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year of repair or maintenance experience
- Successful completion of a background check
- Availability to work full-time with rotating day and evening shifts
- Ability to perform physical tasks and handle hand tools safely
- Willingness to learn emergency procedures
- Maintain effective communication with various hotel departments
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of previous repair or maintenance experience
- Ability to use hand and power tools effectively
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems is helpful
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with management and staff
- Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain records
- Flexibility to work rotating day and evening shifts
Job Duties
- Maintain hotel, pool, and surrounding area performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, HVAC functions, and other related maintenance activities using hand tools
- Notify management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment
- Respond to guest requests for service according to company policy
- Keep records of rooms completed
- Program phone equipment according to hotel needs
- Observe equipment and utility meter readings on a daily basis
- Stay accessible to Front Desk and Chief Engineer
- Maintain files of Material Safety Data Sheets
- Ensure par stocking of regularly used parts and supplies
- Learn emergency procedures
