Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in hotel or facility maintenance
Self-motivated and organized
Ability to perform physical maintenance tasks
Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to work flexible hours including emergency availability
Effective communication skills in English
Basic knowledge of safety standards and regulations

Job Qualifications

Advanced maintenance knowledge and skills
Ability to dismantle and repair defective equipment components
Knowledge of water chemistry and pool maintenance
Experience in preventative maintenance program implementation
Knowledge of building maintenance including minor electrical and plumbing repairs
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing machinery faults
Flexibility to handle emergency repairs

Job Duties

Complete repairs and preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment and HVAC systems
Perform light carpentry, painting, vinyl and drywall repair
Implement and monitor safety programs ensuring compliance with ergonomic, emergency response and injury prevention regulations
Keep detailed maintenance records and reports
Provide ongoing training to Maintenance Technician I team members
Collaborate with management to recruit for department needs
Deliver courteous and friendly guest service to enhance guest experience
