Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hotel or facility maintenance
  • Self-motivated and organized
  • Ability to perform physical maintenance tasks
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work flexible hours including emergency availability
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Basic knowledge of safety standards and regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Advanced maintenance knowledge and skills
  • Ability to dismantle and repair defective equipment components
  • Knowledge of water chemistry and pool maintenance
  • Experience in preventative maintenance program implementation
  • Knowledge of building maintenance including minor electrical and plumbing repairs
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing machinery faults
  • Flexibility to handle emergency repairs

Job Duties

  • Complete repairs and preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment and HVAC systems
  • Perform light carpentry, painting, vinyl and drywall repair
  • Implement and monitor safety programs ensuring compliance with ergonomic, emergency response and injury prevention regulations
  • Keep detailed maintenance records and reports
  • Provide ongoing training to Maintenance Technician I team members
  • Collaborate with management to recruit for department needs
  • Deliver courteous and friendly guest service to enhance guest experience
