Job Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be proficient in reading, speaking and writing in English for the purpose of record keeping, safety and quality training processes
- Available to work overtime including some weekends
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders and work at heights up to 80 ft
- Clean, safe driving record
- Able to work in all weather conditions
- Capable to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to access equipment for repair and maintenance which may require crawling, bending, lying underneath equipment
Job Qualifications
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Good computer skills
- Ability to become qualified on various types of forklifts and aerial equipment primarily less than 5000lb sit down type
- Strong verbal and written communications
- Ability to maintain composure during emergencies
- Ability to learn about various subjects and items
- Must possess a valid unrestricted driver's license
- High school diploma minimum
- Good communication skills
Job Duties
- Use a variety of power and hand tools to perform job functions
- Read and comply with work orders concerning service, modification or installation of machinery
- Work effectively with other team members or independently in a loud environment
- Perform lockout-tag out procedures
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Assist higher level mechanics with repairs, troubleshooting, and inspections with minimal instruction from supervisor or manager
- Complete routine preventative maintenance and service for each piece of equipment
- Perform any other duties as assigned by supervision or management
