Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
- Previous housekeeping experience in a hospital setting preferred
- Valid driver’s license preferred

Job Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks of patient rooms, offices, and public areas while ensuring a safe and risk preventative environment within OSHA regulations
- Ensure that adequate linens are kept in the hospital
- Report any situations that may affect health and well-being of patients or employees
- Assure that supply closets are kept clean and orderly
- Responsible for disposal of trash, waste, and other disposable materials in accordance with OSHA
- Report any needed repairs immediately to supervisor
- Submit any patient personal belongings left behind to nursing supervisor
- Follow policies and procedures for terminal cleaning of a room
- Follow instructions in use of germicidal solutions when cleaning
- Use safety precautions in all housekeeping services
