Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to two years of related experience and/or training preferred
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle, vehicle insurance, and clean driving record for past three years
- Proficiency in English language in reading, writing, and verbal communication
- Compliance with business, state, local, and federal laws regarding certifications and licensure where applicable
- Demonstrated advanced maintenance skills

- Demonstrated proficiency and quality of advanced maintenance skills
- Ability to work effectively in teams and communicate with residents
- Experience with heating, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, and flooring maintenance
Job Duties
- Complete assigned service requests related to repairs and upkeep of properties including heating, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, flooring, HVAC, and general repairs
- Recommend replacement or repair as necessary
- Ensure all work is professional and clean after completion
- Prepare open apartments for rental within 24 to 72 hours coordinating with other staff or vendors
- Participate in ongoing training to maintain and build knowledge and skills as a maintenance technician
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with residents by addressing and responding to requests, questions, and concerns
- Complete and document daily building inspections focusing on proactive maintenance
- Maintain attractive internal and external appearance of buildings and grounds, including debris removal and reporting maintenance needs
