Job Requirements
- Must be able to ascend and descend ladders scaffolds and stairs
- Must be able to work in high and low temperatures for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work in noisy or small environments
- Must be able to turn twist crawl or maneuver into different positions
- Able to operate all equipment in a safe manner
- Able to work well alone or with others in a team environment ensuring timely work completion
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with or without assistance

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cleaning or maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools safely
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Physically capable of performing cleaning duties including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to assist with special events and emergency tasks
Job Duties
- Perform cleaning duties in a variety of areas as assigned by the Director of Facilities
- Assist kitchen staff during peak lunch hours ensuring the cafeteria is clean
- Respond to emergencies or other duties outside the normal scope of work
- Ensure the assigned area is clean ready and safe for school to open
- Clean the garbage area and assist in removing garbage from the building for pickup
- Perform building checks during school closures including weekends on a rotating schedule
- Report unusual or unsafe conditions to the Director of Facilities
- Remove snow and ice from sidewalks using shovels and ice melt
- Assist after hours or off hours for school-wide event setup and breakdown
- Deliver boxes and packages to assigned locations
- Help with coverage needs as they arise
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Facilities
