Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- experience in multifamily housing maintenance management
- knowledge of hot water heater repair and maintenance
- basic carpentry skills
- knowledge of roofing materials preferred
- proficiency in hand and power tools
- ability to use property management software
- strong customer service skills
- ability to communicate effectively
- mathematical competence
- EPA certifications as required
- valid driver’s license if applicable
- ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, carry up to 50 pounds with assistance
- ability to work in all weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- experience in property management maintenance or related trade
- proficiency in using hand and power tools
- knowledge of hot water heater repair and maintenance
- basic carpentry skills
- knowledge of roofing materials preferred
- proficiency in MS Office Suite
- familiarity with property management software such as Yardi or One Site
- strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
- mathematical skills to manage financial documents
- EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal if applicable
- valid driver’s license if required
Job Duties
- Assists and completes work orders generated from resident requests for service
- oversees and completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant units
- develops standards for cleanliness and overall appearance of the property
- inspects work performed by service team members and contractors
- maintains inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials
- completes monthly preventative maintenance procedures
- assists in developing budget for maintenance and capital projects
