Job Requirements

  • Must be EPA or CFC certifiable
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record with auto insurance
  • Minimum of three years hands-on maintenance experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work after hours and take emergency calls
  • Pre-employment background screen

Job Duties

  • Perform hands-on maintenance including inspection, repair, and upkeep of apartments and common areas
  • Act as a team leader for the maintenance staff, delegating and supervising daily tasks
  • Respond promptly to resident service requests and concerns
  • Prepare market-ready apartments by performing painting, carpet cleaning, and general repairs
  • Conduct regular community inspections and prepare status reports
  • Oversee maintenance of mechanical equipment such as HVAC and water heaters
  • Order and manage maintenance inventory and supplies
