Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel or property management setting
  • Supervisory experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Technical aptitude to troubleshoot equipment
  • Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Previous maintenance and supervisory experience in a hotel or property management setting is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous technical training or relevant job experience is preferred
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly

Job Duties

  • Train, supervise, motivate and recognize the maintenance staff
  • Assist with inventory, ordering, and scheduling
  • Perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance in all areas of the hotel and inspect work completed by other maintenance staff to ensure quality and standards are met
  • Troubleshoot various technical devices such as key card systems, internet equipment, television equipment, etc.
  • Oversee safety programs and key control throughout the hotel
  • Respond to all guest requests with a sense of urgency and service frame of mind
  • Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments
