Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in maintenance or facility cleaning preferred
  • ability to perform physical tasks related to maintenance
  • knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • reliable transportation for offsite duties if required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in maintenance or janitorial work preferred
  • ability to use cleaning and maintenance equipment safely
  • good communication and teamwork skills
  • ability to follow safety protocols
  • physical ability to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks
  • reliable and punctual

Job Duties

  • Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors
  • waxing furniture and cleaning fixtures
  • disposing of trash and emptying trash receptacles
  • keeping buildings free from indoor pests
  • maintaining cleaning equipment
  • maintaining inventory of cleaning agents and equipment
  • ensuring equipment and lights are switched off, and premises are locked after hours
  • collaborating with contract cleaning services
  • assist with donation pickups and relocations
