Job Description

Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- ability to lift up to 40-80lbs
- ability to work in inclement weather
- able to work independently
- able to sit/stand for long periods of time
- previous hazardous materials training preferred
- ability to read, understand Material Safety Data Sheets (MDS) and complete reports
- previous janitorial and light maintenance work experience preferred

- verbal and written communication skills in English in order to follow directions

- high school education or equivalent
Job Duties
- Regular site housekeeping and unsafe hazard inspections
- takes corrective action to address any conditions that are not acceptable
- changes light bulbs as appropriate
- responds immediately to any spills
- empties trash receptacles
- performs light mechanical maintenance
- ability to perform significant amount of physical activity including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, moving various items, and shoveling snow
- reports safety hazards and larger maintenance problems to a supervisor
- cleans hanging signs and dusts overhead pipes
- maintains and reports inventory of supplies to supervisor
- completes the employee daily checklist and addresses unsatisfactory remarks
- all other duties as may be assigned based on operational needs
