Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous facility maintenance experience preferred but not required
- Valid state-issued driver’s license with current address and acceptable driving record
- Availability to work flexible shifts including possible 3rd shift and weekends
- Effective oral communication skills
- Effective written communication skills
- Positive customer service attitude
- Adaptability to changing environments
- Good judgment and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to read, write, and interpret English
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring climbing, bending, kneeling
- Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions

- Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Combination of experience and education considered
- Facility maintenance experience preferred
- Electrical, painting, and skills training may be required depending on assignment
- Valid state-issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to speak clearly and communicate effectively
- Ability to write clearly and interpret written information
- Positive attitude and customer service skills
- Ability to adapt to changes in work environment
- Good judgment and professionalism
- Ability to read, write, and interpret English language
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting 50 pounds and working outdoors in diverse weather
- Familiarity with safety practices and equipment
Job Duties
- Perform all maintenance and cleaning tasks noted in the checklists and as directed by the facility manager or supervisor
- Walk garage daily to note and correct any maintenance problems
- Sweep and pick up around the entrances and exits to the garage and stairwells as well as clean surface area rails on all levels, the booth, the office and rest rooms
- Empty all trashcans in the garage, the booth and the office
- Paint any and all areas of the facility as directed by the facility manager or supervisor to ensure surfaces are properly maintained
- Replace burned out bulbs
- Apply oil absorbent to oil spills
- Submit requests for repairs or maintenance
- Check conditions of safety items such as gate arms to ensure clearance bars are secure
- Check ticket spitters and gates daily for proper operations, ticket supply, accuracy of time and appearance
- Provide ticket and record gate counters to the Manager
- Keep an inventory of janitorial supplies
- Maintain a garage or lot sweep sheet
- Operate automatic sweepers, scrubbers, and outdoor equipment such as weed eater and lawnmowers
- Shovel, plow or blow snow from designated areas using snow blowers and light duty equipment
- Report any observed policy violations, safety hazards or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager promptly
- Practice customer service behaviors to ensure successful interactions
- Assist customers within the facility
- Resolve customer complaints independently or with supervisor aid
- Be familiar with all aspects of the operation and cover other duties including cashier and attendant as needed
- Maintain a neat and clean appearance and wear complete uniform during shifts
- Perform other duties as assigned
