Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in hotel or building maintenance
Supervisory experience
Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Basic computer proficiency
Strong communication skills
Ability to lift and move heavy objects
Familiarity with safety and emergency protocols

Job Qualifications

Hotel or building maintenance experience
Supervisory experience
Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate in English
Basic computer skills
Knowledge of chemical handling, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and small appliance repair
Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
Strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with guests, vendors, and staff

Job Duties

Ensures all required repairs and maintenance is performed on all hotel equipment and assets as scheduled or requested by guests, housekeeping, and management
Maintains hotel grounds and building exterior
Supervises all outside contractors to ensure they are fulfilling their contractual requirements
Performs preventative maintenance on hotel equipment and assets per set schedule
Performs daily walk through, records all meter readings and boiler temperatures
Orders supplies and monitors the department budget
Monitors all life safety systems and ensures compliance with corporate/brand standards and all federal, state and local laws
