Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- hotel or building maintenance experience
- supervisory experience
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- valid drivers license and vehicle insurance
- basic computer skills
- ability to lift and move heavy equipment up to 100 pounds
- effective communication skills

- facility maintenance knowledge including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and small appliance repairs

Job Duties
- Ensures all required repairs and maintenance is performed on all hotel equipment and assets as scheduled or requested by guests, housekeeping, and management
- maintains hotel grounds and building exterior
- supervises all outside contractors to ensure they are fulfilling their contractual requirements
- performs preventative maintenance on hotel equipment and assets per set schedule
- performs daily walk throughs and records all meter readings and boiler temperatures
- orders supplies and monitors the department budget
- monitors all life safety systems and ensures compliance with all corporate, brand standards and all federal, state and local laws
