Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 2 years experience in maintenance
- knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing maintenance
- ability to comply with safety standards
- flexible schedule including holidays, weekends, and evenings
- physical ability to stand for 8-10 hours, lift up to 60 pounds, bend, stretch, and ascend ladders up to 12 feet
- good communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- professional appearance and demeanor

- knowledge of maintenance preventive maintenance (PM) procedures
- awareness of daily hotel operations and changes
- understanding of safety and security measures

Job Duties
- Oversees all engineering and maintenance operations, maintaining the building, grounds, and physical plant with an emphasis on safety, security, and asset protection
- accountable for the maintenance budget, capital expenditure projects, preventive maintenance, and energy conservation for the hotel
- responsible for maintaining regulatory requirements
- ensure proper completion of all duties and projects assigned
- ensure proper completion of all maintenance activities including routine and preventive maintenance of guestrooms, public areas, back of the house, and laundry operations
- ensure the proper appearance of the hotel from entrance to roof including maintenance of parking lots, walkways, landscaping, service and trash areas, and exterior of all buildings
