Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years experience in maintenance
- Training in HVAC/R, electrical, and plumbing
- Ability to perform physical activities including standing for 8 hours, lifting up to 60 pounds, bending, stretching, and climbing ladders up to 12 feet
- Must be able to work alone and as part of a team
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Comply with maintenance and safety standards
- Communicate professionally with guests and coworkers
- Flexible work schedule including holidays, weekends, and evenings
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years maintenance experience
- Training in HVAC/R, electrical, and plumbing
- Knowledge of hotel facility maintenance procedures including guest rooms and public spaces
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Good attendance and punctuality

Job Duties
- Oversees all engineering/maintenance operations including building, grounds, and physical plant with attention to safety, security, and asset protection
- Accountable for maintenance budget, capital expenditure projects, preventive maintenance, and energy conservation
- Maintain regulatory compliance for the facility
- Ensure proper completion of all assigned maintenance duties and projects
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, back of the house, and laundry operations
- Ensure the hotel's appearance from entrance to roof, including parking lot, walkways, landscaping, service and trash areas, and building exteriors
- Communicate effectively with guests and coworkers professionally while assisting with guest issues and maintaining a hospitable attitude
