Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of strong technical experience in facilities management
  • Minimum 3 years work experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations or engineering services
  • Proven track record of successful facilities management leadership
  • Strong HVAC and/or electrical background
  • Experience leading and managing teams
  • Experience with CMMS and building automation systems
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of facilities management leadership experience
  • Strong HVAC and/or electrical background
  • Experience leading and developing skilled trade workers and custodial teams
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, controls, structural, safety systems, architectural, landscape and energy management
  • Experience managing a CMMS work order system
  • Experience with building automation systems
  • Exceptional customer service, relationship building and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • S1/S2 or E1/E2 license preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Manage integrated facilities services including general maintenance, mechanical, electrical, safety, environmental services and critical systems
  • Provide hands-on technical expertise focusing on HVAC and electrical systems
  • Prepare and manage departmental budgets in conjunction with the client
  • Maintain strong client interfacing and interactions
  • Conduct client meetings to resolve facility issues and communicate results
  • Manage and coach staff and service providers to deliver excellent service levels within budget
  • Oversee a team of 15 direct reports
