Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Some technical education or experience
- Minimum of two years of experience in maintenance
- Ability to perform light work involving exertion of up to 20 pounds frequently
- Must be able to follow OSHA Category III standards
- Ability to work Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays
- Reliable and punctual
- Good communication skills

- Minimum of two years of experience in maintenance or related field
- Knowledge of hospital maintenance operations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in the use of maintenance tools and equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills
Job Duties
- Complete all maintenance service requests as assigned
- Assist in physical plant upkeep including changing air filters, changing light bulbs, flushing drains, descaling ice machines, checking and cleaning roof drains, sanding and painting
- Maintain grounds work such as watering, planting, mowing, hedge control, sweeping curb, trash and debris pick up, raking leaves
- Maintain various pieces of equipment throughout the building facilities including greasing bearings, tightening screws, and maintaining relative monitors
- Report on materials and repair parts needed for specific projects for ordering by the maintenance supervisor
- In the absence of the maintenance supervisor, report to the assistant maintenance supervisor
- Assist in monitoring any work performed by outside contractors
- Alert the maintenance supervisor of any unusual occurrences or damage that have taken place or occurred
