Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in aircraft maintenance or engineering
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance practices, FAA regulations, and engineering standards
  • Experience in authoring technical publications and procedures
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and technical manuals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with high accuracy in documentation
  • Project management experience preferred
  • FAA airframe and powerplant certificate preferred
  • Ability to acquire DOD SECRET level security clearance
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Ability to operate company vehicles as part of duties

  • Proficiency interpreting engineering drawings and technical manuals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with high accuracy in documentation
  • Project management experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Serve as the primary interface between maintenance, engineering, and flight operations
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination to ensure maintenance aligns with engineering and test requirements
  • Provide engineering support to maintenance personnel for troubleshooting and technical issues
  • Interpret engineering drawings, maintenance manuals, and technical instructions
  • Assist in development and implementation of maintenance procedures
  • Ensure maintenance activities comply with FAA regulations and company policies
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance actions, discrepancies, and changes
  • Support audits, inspections, and review boards
  • Coordinate and manage engineering modifications and projects
  • Develop and manage project timelines
  • Monitor and report project progress
  • Assist maintenance control and planning teams with scheduling and execution
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective planning
  • Assist in vehicle testing as directed
