Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in aircraft maintenance or engineering
- Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance practices, FAA regulations, and engineering standards
- Experience in authoring technical publications and procedures
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and technical manuals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy in documentation
- Project management experience preferred
- FAA airframe and powerplant certificate preferred
- Ability to acquire DOD SECRET level security clearance
- Willingness to travel as required
- Ability to operate company vehicles as part of duties
Job Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance practices, FAA regulations, and engineering standards
- Experience authoring technical publications and developing operational procedures
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency interpreting engineering drawings and technical manuals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy in documentation
- Project management experience preferred
- FAA airframe and powerplant certificate preferred
- Able to acquire DOD SECRET level security clearance if necessary
Job Duties
- Serve as the primary interface between maintenance, engineering, and flight operations
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination to ensure maintenance aligns with engineering and test requirements
- Provide engineering support to maintenance personnel for troubleshooting and technical issues
- Interpret engineering drawings, maintenance manuals, and technical instructions
- Assist in development and implementation of maintenance procedures
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with FAA regulations and company policies
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance actions, discrepancies, and changes
- Support audits, inspections, and review boards
- Coordinate and manage engineering modifications and projects
- Develop and manage project timelines
- Monitor and report project progress
- Assist maintenance control and planning teams with scheduling and execution
- Identify opportunities for process improvements
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective planning
- Assist in vehicle testing as directed
