Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
- At least 6 months experience
- Ability to read, analyze, and write
- Ability to effectively follow orders and respond to questions from management
- Must be able to occasionally reach, lift, and move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to crouch or crawl under a 48 inch high shelf
- Ability to ascend and descend a 14 inch step
- Must be able to activate phone systems using keyboards and buttons
- Regularly works in an indoor/office environment requiring sitting and repetitive hand motion
- Frequently required to talk, hear, stand, and walk
- Must be able to work in excess of continuous 8 hours when required
- Must have 20/20 corrected vision to read and discern images
- Must be able to speak and communicate clearly over telephones
- Must be in sound physical health as confirmed by licensed physician with no controlled substance use evidence
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED

- Basic knowledge of repair techniques or job training alongside an experienced custodian
- Sanitation for food facility skills
- Finishing and refinishing floors skills
- Forklift driver skills
Job Duties
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them
- Gather and empty trash
- Service, clean, and supply restrooms
- Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners
- Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
- Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions
- Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors
- Drive vehicles required to perform or travel to cleaning work including vans, industrial trucks, or industrial vacuum cleaners
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage
- Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies manually or using hand trucks
- Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions
- Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas using snowplows, snow blowers, and shovels
- Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance
- Spray insecticides and fumigants to prevent insect and rodent infestation
- Perform other duties as required by supervisor
