Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous maintenance experience
- leadership or supervisory experience
- ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- proficiency with hand and power tools
- knowledge of safety standards and protocols
- physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand/walk for extended periods
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and overtime
Job Qualifications
- Previous maintenance experience with leadership or mentoring responsibilities
- comfortable working in a busy environment with urgent timelines
- strong repair and troubleshooting skills
- comfortable with hand and power tools
- knowledge of equipment repair, building maintenance, and safety standards
- highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage changing priorities
- able to lift and move 50-100 lbs. regularly and stand/walk for 8-10 hours
- flexible schedule, including weekends and overtime as needed
- electrician certification is a plus
- carpentry or welding experience is a plus
Job Duties
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team to complete repairs and projects on time
- repair and maintain event rental equipment so it is safe, clean, and ready for use
- complete building upkeep tasks such as painting, basic carpentry, or minor repairs
- organize and prioritize work based on event deadlines and urgent needs
- inspect and test equipment to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- safely use hand and power tools while keeping work areas clean and organized
- train and support maintenance associates, helping them build skills and stay on task
- enforce safety rules and make sure PPE is used correctly
