Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous maintenance experience
  • leadership or supervisory experience
  • ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • proficiency with hand and power tools
  • knowledge of safety standards and protocols
  • physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand/walk for extended periods
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and overtime

Job Qualifications

  • Previous maintenance experience with leadership or mentoring responsibilities
  • comfortable working in a busy environment with urgent timelines
  • strong repair and troubleshooting skills
  • comfortable with hand and power tools
  • knowledge of equipment repair, building maintenance, and safety standards
  • highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage changing priorities
  • able to lift and move 50-100 lbs. regularly and stand/walk for 8-10 hours
  • flexible schedule, including weekends and overtime as needed
  • electrician certification is a plus
  • carpentry or welding experience is a plus

Job Duties

  • Lead and supervise the maintenance team to complete repairs and projects on time
  • repair and maintain event rental equipment so it is safe, clean, and ready for use
  • complete building upkeep tasks such as painting, basic carpentry, or minor repairs
  • organize and prioritize work based on event deadlines and urgent needs
  • inspect and test equipment to ensure quality and safety standards are met
  • safely use hand and power tools while keeping work areas clean and organized
  • train and support maintenance associates, helping them build skills and stay on task
  • enforce safety rules and make sure PPE is used correctly
