Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • six months of maintenance experience
  • valid State of Ohio driver’s license
  • evidence of personal vehicle insurance with adequate liability protection
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as lawn mowing and snow removal
  • reliable and punctual
  • willingness to complete background check and drug screening

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • six months of maintenance experience
  • valid State of Ohio driver’s license
  • evidence of personal vehicle insurance with adequate liability protection
  • basic knowledge of grounds and vehicle maintenance
  • ability to perform janitorial and painting tasks
  • good communication skills
  • ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • strong attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Perform grounds maintenance duties including lawn mowing, weed control, snow removal, litter control, and checking dumpster conditions
  • perform janitorial duties as required
  • paint apartments as directed
  • notify maintenance supervisor of disabled or inoperable vehicles, broken glass, torn screens, and residents with debris or junk outside their unit
  • conduct daily inspection of assigned vehicle and maintain mileage log
  • perform minor maintenance repairs as directed
  • complete work orders promptly and accurately
