Job Requirements

  • 4+ years previous hotel maintenance and/or facilities experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively and understand written and verbal instructions in English
  • Pool/hot tub certification preferred
  • Experience with snow grooming equipment preferred
  • Must have, or be able to obtain, a state driver’s license
  • All crew members are subject to a background check
  • Maintenance is an active role involving frequent bending, reaching overhead and squatting
  • Lifting, carrying and placing objects weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance
  • Pushing/pulling objects weighing up to 75 lbs without assistance
  • Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills
  • Remaining on your feet for extended periods
  • The noise level in the work environment can be moderate and occasionally loud typical of a hotel setting

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Overseeing the condition and appearance of guest rooms, cabooses, cabins, restaurant, bar and other facilities
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks such as painting, carpet and floor cleaning, plumbing, caulking
  • Scheduling and overseeing preventative maintenance in all guest rooms and public areas
  • Overseeing and reporting on major repair needs, including working with an asset manager to strategize an approach to major issues
  • Performing minor adjustments on HVAC systems, room furniture, fixtures and other items in the hotel and restaurant
  • Establishing safety protocols and emergency weather response on site and ensuring team awareness of safety concerns and red-tagged equipment
  • Taking care of guests and answering their questions, being familiar with property amenities, local recommendations and fun things to do
  • Performing other duties or special projects as assigned
