Job Requirements
- 4+ years previous hotel maintenance and/or facilities experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively and understand written and verbal instructions in English
- Pool/hot tub certification preferred
- Experience with snow grooming equipment preferred
- Must have or be able to obtain a state driver's license
- All crew members are subject to a background check
- Maintenance involves frequent bending, reaching overhead and squatting
- Lifting, carrying, and placing objects weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
- Pushing/pulling objects weighing up to 75 lbs. without assistance
- Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills
- Remaining on feet for extended periods of time
- The noise level in the work environment can be moderate and occasionally loud (typical of a hotel setting)

- Expert level of knowledge of hotel maintenance and how to fix everyday property needs

- An ability to learn new things quickly and a willingness to teach others
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay on track when busy
Job Duties
- Overseeing the condition and appearance of guest rooms, cabooses, cabins, restaurant, bar and other facilities
- Performing routine maintenance tasks such as painting, carpet/floor cleaning, plumbing, caulking
- Scheduling and overseeing preventative maintenance in all guest rooms and public areas
- Overseeing and reporting on major repair needs and working with asset manager on strategies
- Performing minor adjustments on HVAC systems, room furniture, fixtures and other items
- Establishing safety protocols and emergency weather response and communicating safety concerns
- Taking care of guests and assisting with questions, being familiar with property amenities and local recommendations
- Performing other duties or special projects as assigned
