Job Requirements

  • 4+ years previous hotel maintenance and/or facilities experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively and understand written and verbal instructions in English
  • Pool/hot tub certification preferred
  • Experience with snow grooming equipment preferred
  • Must have or be able to obtain a state driver's license
  • All crew members are subject to a background check
  • Maintenance involves frequent bending, reaching overhead and squatting
  • Lifting, carrying, and placing objects weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
  • Pushing/pulling objects weighing up to 75 lbs. without assistance
  • Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills
  • Remaining on feet for extended periods of time
  • The noise level in the work environment can be moderate and occasionally loud (typical of a hotel setting)

  • Expert level of knowledge of hotel maintenance and how to fix everyday property needs

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay on track when busy

Job Duties

  • Overseeing the condition and appearance of guest rooms, cabooses, cabins, restaurant, bar and other facilities
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks such as painting, carpet/floor cleaning, plumbing, caulking
  • Scheduling and overseeing preventative maintenance in all guest rooms and public areas
  • Overseeing and reporting on major repair needs and working with asset manager on strategies
  • Performing minor adjustments on HVAC systems, room furniture, fixtures and other items
  • Establishing safety protocols and emergency weather response and communicating safety concerns
  • Taking care of guests and assisting with questions, being familiar with property amenities and local recommendations
  • Performing other duties or special projects as assigned
