Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1500 hours total flight time
  • 1200 hours helicopter flight time
  • 1000 hours helicopter pilot in command time
  • 250 hours turbine time
  • 50 hours night unaided and/or NVG flight time
  • FAA Rotorcraft-Helicopter Commercial certificate
  • FAA Rotorcraft-Helicopter Instrument rating
  • Current Second Class medical certificate
  • Ability to meet 230-pound weight limit

  • Minimum 1000 hours helicopter pilot in command time
  • Minimum 250 hours turbine time
  • Minimum 50 hours night unaided and/or NVG flight experience
  • Ability to meet 230-pound weight limit

Job Duties

  • Conducts pre-flights and reports any findings to respective maintenance personnel
  • Conducts run-ups and reports any findings to respective maintenance personnel
  • Conducts operational check flights and reports findings to maintenance personnel
  • Maintains engineering reports as required
  • Works with maintenance personnel to resolve mechanical issues and concerns
  • Ferries aircraft between the Regional Maintenance Office and field locations as needed
  • Ensures compliance with 14 CFR 91, company policies, and procedures
  • Prohibits 14 CFR 135 flights
