Job Requirements
- Minimum one year experience in similar maintenance position or equivalent experience
- Basic knowledge in building maintenance
- Experience with diagnostic devices and general mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, kitchen, and carpentry knowledge
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to pass Certified Pool Operator course
- Basic English and math skills
- Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Commitment to safety and property security
- Good time management skills
Job Qualifications
- Basic knowledge in building maintenance fields
- Experience using hand tools and other tools to repair and maintain equipment
- Training in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, kitchen, and carpentry
- Ability to troubleshoot maintenance systems
- Experience at AAA Four Diamond/Four Star hotels or resorts preferred
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights up to 35 feet
- Ability to lift minimum 50 pounds
- Ability to pass Certified Pool Operator training
- Ability to learn and understand life safety systems
- Basic English language and mathematical skills
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Strong interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Assist other engineering personnel with routine repairs and preventive maintenance
- Respond to guest requests to ensure their personal comfort
- Perform general maintenance to guestrooms and public areas while monitoring and maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas
- Prepare for daily work assignments and review priorities and special projects
- Responsible for maintaining appropriate time management
- Hold the highest standards for the proper use of all equipment
- Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the property, our guests, and fellow team members
- Snow removal
