Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in maintenance or custodial work is a plus
- Ability to understand and follow safety rules and procedures
- Good communication skills to report any hazards or maintenance needs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Maintain safety of facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps
- follow proper forklift spotting procedures
- handle and dispose of hazardous materials properly
- follow company steel standard guidelines
- correct or report unsafe situations to management
- Clean all areas of the facility such as floors, windows, restrooms, and trash receptacles according to company procedures
- perform maintenance as necessary including responding to spills and operating floor scrubbers
- dispose of cardboard, plastic, and trash in line with company environmental sustainability program
- Maintain appropriate levels of approved chemicals and supplies
- rotate and store chemical supplies properly
- place orders to replenish supplies when low
- Ensure customers have a great first and last impression
- Maintain a positive attitude throughout the shift
