Job Duties
- Maintain safety of facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including safety sweeps and proper handling of hazardous materials
- Clean all areas of the facility such as floors, windows, restrooms, and trash receptacles using approved chemicals, supplies, and equipment
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for members and associates by performing necessary maintenance, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of waste according to environmental sustainability program
- Maintain appropriate levels of company-approved chemicals and supplies, rotate and store chemicals properly, and place orders to replenish supplies when low
- Ensure customers have a great first and last impression of the facility
- Maintain a positive attitude and work effectively in a physically demanding environment
- Follow company steel standard guidelines and report unsafe situations to management
